Commanda Collective takes pride in creating unique and carefully handcrafted designs that are truly special. Their beads are sourced from specialty shops all around the world and are predominantly made of glass. Some pieces feature semi-precious crystals that are ethically sourced from various suppliers. They use only .925 sterling silver or 14K plated gold metals, which are also ethically sourced. Their pricing philosophy reflects their belief in the healing power of stepping into your own worth and empowerment. We carefully consider the price of each product, connecting it to a larger narrative about self-worth and personal transformation. 

Commanda Collective's Story

Commanda Collective was founded by sisters Taylor & Madison Fox. We weave
ancestral wisdom into enduring adornments. Inspired by our great-grandmother,
Susan Espaniel (nee Commanda), a resilient survivor of residential school and a
master bead weaver, our creations honour her legacy through a modern lens.

Embracing minimalism and slow artisan fashion, we craft pieces that carry
stories meant to be cherished for generations. Collaborating with our mother,
Dale Commanda, and sister, Montana Fox, we blend diverse perspectives to
create adornments that evoke a profound sense of connection and cultural
pride.

Grounded in nature and guided by spirit, our designs draw inspiration from the
natural world and ancestral realms. Through each bead woven, we are
reclaiming, healing, and flourishing.

CANADIAN SHIPPING RATES

We are pleased to offer free Canada Post Expedited Parcel shipping within Canada on orders of CAD 150 or more (before tax). Note that oversized items are excluded from this offer. If an item is considered oversize, it will be noted on its product page.

We offer a flat shipping fee starting at CAD 9.00 from coast to coast for orders below CAD 150.

    We offer a flat delivery fee starting at CAD 12.00 for orders below CAD 150.

      We are not currently offering international shipping outside Canada and the United States.

      Returns
      Our return/exchange policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since you received your purchase, unfortunately, we can't offer you a refund or exchange.

      To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, and in the same condition, you received. It must also be in the original packaging.

      The following items are final sales and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded: gift cards and sale items. In addition, oils, Underwear, Bodysuits, Swimwear and B.E.D.s (Body Exploration Devices including vibrators, wands and any other intimate device or lubricant) are final sale and exempt from being returned or exchanged due to their personal nature for sanitary reasons however if you believe your B.E.D. is defective (i.e. not charging, won't stay on or turn on), please email us so we can troubleshoot with you (hello@itsthelake.com).

      We require a receipt or proof of purchase issued by The Lake to complete your return.

      Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

      The Lake will not accept returns of any item not in its original condition, damaged or altered in any way for reasons, not due to our error, or any item returned more than 14 days after delivery was made to you.

      Refunds (if applicable)
      Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
      If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a certain amount of days.

      Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
      If you haven't received a refund, first recheck your bank account.
      Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
      Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

      Sale items (if applicable)
      Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

      Exchanges (if applicable)
      We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. However, in the case of unworn clothing (excluding underwear, bodysuits or swimwear), if you need to exchange it for the same item but a different size, please email us at philippe@itsthelake.com, and we will provide you with details of The Lake's return postal address.

      Gifts
      If the item were marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'd receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

      If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and the gift giver will find out about your return.

      Shipping
      To return your product, you must email us at philippe@itsthelake.com, and we will provide you with details for the return, including The Lake's return postal address.

      You will be responsible for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The shipping cost will be deducted from your refund if you receive a refund.

      Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

      If you are shipping an item over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Unfortunately, we don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and if we do not receive an item, we cannot issue a refund or exchange.
